In My Time 04:39
in my time ~ fae Wiedenhoeft - february 2002 ~ dadgad capo 5 a million thoughts race through my head so fast I can't remember where the one thought ends and the other begins is this genius or a time to surrender it’s time to start traveling again we take the path that is the one less taken to find the pot of gold at the rainbow’s end all the trials and tribulations surly show who are your friends and I’m wondering when so I break the rules and I stay a little longer hoping that my world will keep growing stronger it’s up to me my dreams are free in my time don’t need no cards nor dice I don’t believe in fallacy see I believe that the universe has something greater waiting here for me and times get tough I fall down on my knees and I cry still I’m wondering why that I break the rules and I stay a little longer hoping that my world will keep growing stronger it’s up to me my dreams are free in my time in my time and I see and I see my dreams I don’t know, I don’t know what they always mean and I see and I see so many dreams that don’t belong to me and I see and I see my dreams I don’t know, I don’t know what they always mean and I see and I see so many dreams set sail on a crystal blue sea as I’m dreaming of my reality as I’m making my own way in my own time

Story 04:50
story ~ fae Wiedenhoeft - july 2005 ~ dadf#ad tell me a story the one where you were young in the old house when cold wooden floors would creak under sleepy toes at daybreak morning fingers through lacy curtains the ones that Nana made in 1939 to ease her mind from worrying about the future of running out of money and time see the dusty rays of history rise like the smoke rings from granddad's pipe the sweet smell of honey and black currant tea and the rumble of the milkman you can't go back to the places where you began climbing trees, castles of sand you can't go back to the places where you began I'll tell you a story the one where i was young in the old house with pictures in frames yellowed with the years and the smile of that Cheshire cat Christmas snows that gathered on the ledge and the river fully frozen shadow games from the fires in the hearth and the smell of fresh baked cookies see the dusty rays of history rise like your exhales in winter when snow-days and summer seemed to last for a year and i never thought I'd grow old you can't go back to the places where you began climbing trees castles of sand you can't go back to the places where you began you can never return so what is your story? Do you hold it near your heart or do you hide like me

West Coast Morning Fae Wiedenhoeft ~ 4 march 2004 dadgbd the island sleeps with half moon smiles as i walk through the turn stiles of life another day begins the drops dance in the streets as we walk hand in hand unleashing poetry smoke rings to the sea just another west coast morning has begin just another west coast morning has begin fun without the sun the trees sway like we danced in the warm summer rays do you remember those days? the wind whispers through the trees like the whispers you once whispered to me oh, those little day dreams just another west coast morning has begin just another west coast morning has begin fun without the sun it's down to Bastien square for tea with you and conversation too we'll watch the fog roll in the ferry scuttles by as seagulls fly their wings against the blue it's nice to have this time with you just another west coast morning has begin just another west coast morning has begin fun without the sun

about

During my brief stay in Tulsa, Oklahoma, I had a monthly show at the Saffron Coffeehouse. It was one of my most favorite places there. I was gathering my footing as a solo artist and exploring a new life with Captain. I missed the West Coast terribly.
Thankful to Adam for making this recording on that old Mini-Disc player and pushing me to keep going forward in my music
